These caps with pulling eye form a connection as strong as the cable itself. The entire cable, jacket and conductor, is used which reduces the risk of cable deformation during pulling. When properly installed, Heat Shrink End Caps with Cable Pulling Eye are virtually impossible to pull off and also seal the cable against both water and moisture intrusion. Typically factory installed, the pulling eyes can also be field installed with a propane (preferred) or butane gas torch.
