About Heat Shrink Printable Wire Marker Sleeve (GPM Finotube)

Panel builders, harness makers and maintenance teams need wire and cable markers that stay put and stay legible. Gala's printable marker sleeve (GPM, shown on the website as Finotube) is heat-shrinkable polyolefin tubing supplied flat, so it can be fed through a printer. Each marker is printed, slid over the wire or cable, and shrunk on, after which it grips the conductor and cannot slide off or be lost.

The sleeve is made from an irradiated, thermally stabilised modified polyolefin. It is printable on one or both sides, on thermal-transfer or laser printers, with Gala's recommended printers and ink ribbons. Printing your own markers removes the need to stock pre-printed characters.

Two shrink ratios are offered. GPM2 (2:1) and GPM3 (3:1) share the same twelve supplied sizes, named 1.6 to 76 after their nominal size, with supplied inside diameters from 2.0 to 79.4 mm; the 3:1 version recovers further, onto thinner wire. Markers come in ladder format, boxed in 250 to 2500 pieces, or as continuous tubing on paper reels (50 or 100 m) or plastic reels (25 m). Standard colours are white and yellow, with others to order. The sleeve recovers from 125 deg C and is rated for -55 to +135 deg C.

Supplied by Gala, India. Datasheet and size selection on request.
